I spent a semester studying in Berlin from January - May 2017.  The whole time I was there, people would tell me I was so lucky to have come during the spring, to see the city blossom into the summer months.  I don't know how many times I heard, "Berlin is the beautiful in the summer, it really just lights up around mid May - when do you leave again?"  I had a great time anyway.

I'd wanted to see Venice since I was a little kid, and honestly never thought I would get to see it before it sank into the ocean.  While I was studying in Berlin, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel there for a weekend.  The city was just as magical as I'd always imagined it could be, and the winding alleyways, canals, and blossoming flowers made for excellent landscape photos.

I adore Allston.  I lived there during the summers of 2016 and 2017.  After working at a desk most days, I would go for 4 or 5 mile walks in the evenings.  My favorite light was in the hour just before the sunset, which is the time the majority of these photos were taken.

Utrecht, Amsterdam.

I went on a weekend trip to visit a friend in Utrecht, NE.   The Danish countryside was unreal.  It felt , in my friend Brenna's words, "like we're in a fancy cheese commercial."  At one point we were walking through a public  green space, in the middle of which was a pancake house on a river.  After we left there, we were walking through a public park and there were suddenly just lambs everywhere.  Wild.
